Blister packing is a transparent plastic bubble sealed by heat on a piece of card. This bubble is thermoformed from a transparent plastic plate. The card is previously coated with a layer of resin for blister-usually this step is carried out in the print shop together with the card printing.
     The manufacturing process includes placing the product inside a bubble and then sealing this bubble against a sealing card.
     Examples of blister-packed products: cigarette lighters, shavers, batteries, medical and pharmaceutical products.
